Anambra state governor, Chief Willie Obiano, has promoted his senior Special Assistant on Disability matters, Barr. Chuks Ezewuzie, to a Special Adviser (SPAD).
Ezewuzie , a visual impaired man was announced promoted by the governor during a state Executive Council meeting.
This came after a special presentation by a Community of Persons with Disabilities, to the Executive council.
He said he would be sworn in at the next Executive council meeting, adding that he was happy how the new SPAD had been running the office of the Governor on Disability Matters for improving the lives of persons with disabilities.
Reacting, Barrister Ezewuzie, commended the Governor for running an open government, which according to him, makes it possible for employment of persons with disabilities, passage and assent to Disability rights law, among others.
